OptimalCore was established in 2002 by Andreas and Themis. Both have played pivotal roles in key supply chain optimization initiatives in Europe and the USA across many industry verticals, including CPG, steel, industrial products, metals and healtcare.  Their experience is uniquely combined with a deep theoretical background in mathematical programming and optimization.

Themistoklis Rafailidis (Themis) is the co-owner and managing director of OptimalCore.

In the last 25 years, he has led several supply chain transformation initiatives for global companies in CPG, metals, automotive, electronics, pharma and oil & gas.

He holds a Master of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Dr Andreas Dimitriadis is the founder, co-owner and technology director of OptimalCore.

He has +25 years of solid supply chain optimization experience, in a variety of industries, including pharma, CPG, metals, electronics and industrial products.

He holds a Ph.D. from the Centre for Process Systems Engineering, Imperial College, London, UK.
